The veil has been lifted from some of the eyes of liberals. Democratic donors reportedly have new concerns about Joe Biden. They say he’s very old, sometimes confused, and relies on canned answers to even questions he knows are coming.
While everyone else has noticed that the president often has days where he’s confused, powerful Democrats have become worried about Biden’s age, especially in light of the DOJ report that may very likely lead to Trump’s second term.
Apparently, the president getting up and wandering off during an interview didn’t set off any alarm bells for these Democrats.

He wasn’t listening to them during swanky dinners. That’s what got them to notice.
President Biden has been using notecards in closed-door fundraisers, calling on prescreened donors and then consulting his notes to provide detailed answers, according to people familiar with the routine, according to Axios.
Biden’s reliance on notecards to help explain his own policy positions — on questions he knows are coming — is raising concerns among some donors about Biden’s age.
The staged Q&A sessions have left some donors wondering whether Biden can withstand the rigors of a presidential campaign, let alone potential debates with former President Trump, 77.
Biden advisers say the president is given notecards only for very detailed and technical questions, and say he frequently does spontaneous Q&As. Most recent presidents — including Trump, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Barack Obama — have carried crib notes, or used teleprompters, to help guide them through various public events and meetings. In Biden’s case, donors have noticed he’s also using notecards in private events.
Biden’s now-heavily-documented memory problems are more than just innocent fodder for joke, former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer recently noted that it has had deadly consequences and undermines American national security.
The Daily Caller reported that “Fleischer appeared on “Hannity” to discuss concerns over Biden’s mounting political issues as the 2024 presidential election approaches. The Fox News host asked Fleischer how he is analyzing the upcoming race, to which Fleischer stated the United States is in need of both a “strong” and “sharp” leader.
Fleischer called out Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021 which led to the death of 13 Americans from a terrorist attack. He slammed the president over his backtracking on being briefed about the withdrawal, noting why his memory led to the “deadly” incident.
‘We don’t only need a strong leader, we need a sharp leader. And, Sean, the biggest mistake he made — you showed that painful series, it’s painful to watch it — but the biggest mistake Joe Biden’s memory made resulted in the death of Americans. And that’s when he said that nobody in the military told him that he had an option to leave a small force behind in Afghanistan, some 2,500 people. He said no one gave him that option, only to be contradicted later by the military, who General Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who said, ‘Indeed, the president was briefed on leaving 2,500 behind,’ Fleischer stated.
“He didn’t remember his policy briefings and then withdrew everybody from Afghanistan cause he thought he had no options. This is why it’s deadly. And the job of the presidency is the hardest job on the planet. Even for a young man, it grinds you down and wears you out. And [now] we have an old man doing a young man’s job. This is the problem with Joe Biden. The flubs, the forgetting of names — it’s bad, but it’s not of that great a consequence. It’s the memory loss. This is the problem when you have a president who can’t remember the briefings he’s given.”
In 2021, the outlet noted that Biden denied being briefed about the possible downsides of his plan to withdraw from Afghanistan. Biden’s handiwork in the region has not just been a disaster for those who helped our armed forces there, but also for the Afghanistan people in general.
A watchdog report from last March by The Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction offered a blistering critique of Biden’s abandonment of Afghanistan. Despite 20 years of American help, ”The Washington Post writes, summarizing the findings, “the Afghans weren’t ready (and might never have been), and the Taliban made big inroads after Trump and the Islamist militia struck the so-called Doha Agreement that set a U.S. withdrawal timeline. Then Biden — a longtime advocate for leaving, no matter what — slightly extended the deadline but ultimately quit the country.”
More recently, the Taliban performed a public execution in front of a stadium of people, ABC News wrote.
“The United Nations has strongly criticized the Taliban for carrying out public executions, lashings and stonings since seizing power, and called on the country’s rulers to halt such practices.”
