Fox News senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy unveiled a new batch of UFO files declassified by the Trump administration Friday morning, including a 1952 film that appears to show drones in the sky, after being summoned to a private meeting in the West Wing.
Appearing on Fox & Friends, Doocy told co-hosts Brian Kilmeade, Ainsley Earhardt and Lawrence Jones about three new videos that are part of a sixth tranche of files released by the Department of Defense.
“I was summoned to an office in the West Wing yesterday for a private briefing about these files you are about to see on your screen for the first time ever,” Doocy said.
The first clip was shot by Navy aerial photographer Delbert Newhouse along a Utah highway in the 1950s. Doocy said it looks like a drone swarm, even though no drones were known to exist when the film was taken in 1952. He was told it is the first and only copy of the film, found in the national archives and digitized into 4K for its public debut.
The second clip was recorded on an iPhone by a police officer along a busy Colorado highway three years ago. The officer’s description of what he saw has been redacted in the released files, but Doocy said he heard the unredacted version. “He is describing multiple orbs over a sensitive military installation for 15 minutes at a time,” Doocy said.
The third clip was taken by a drone over the Middle East in 2025 and shows six mysterious objects flying in formation. Doocy said the Pentagon reviewed the footage and told him officials do not know what they are looking at.
There was more. Doocy also presented a newly declassified copy of an expense report detailing a $22 million Defense Intelligence Agency investigation into UFO-related happenings at Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. Yet any report on the investigation’s findings is missing.
Doocy said the money traces back to 2008, when the late Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat, secured $22 million for the probe. Senior White House officials have told him they cannot find any copy of the records. There is proof that a government contractor spent the $22 million, but when high-ranking White House officials who can simply pick up the phone and request the records make the call, they are told the documents were either lost or something happened to them.
“Somebody has them. They are not available to White House officials right now,” Doocy said.
He stressed once again that officials do not know what the objects in the videos are.
Kilmeade pressed him. “Now they don’t know, Peter, but do you know?” the host asked.
“Can’t say,” Doocy replied coyly.
It is not the first time Doocy has landed a UFO exclusive. In May, he appeared on Fox & Friends to present a flash drive he said was mysteriously left on his desk the night before. It contained the first collection of UFO files from the Department of Defense.
“This is a world exclusive,” he said at the time.
