Megyn Kelly said Friday that she has never accepted money from any foreign government or foreign entity to support her show, while revealing that representatives connected to Israel were the only foreign group to express interest in advertising on her program.
Kelly made the remarks during an episode of The Megyn Kelly Show featuring Alex Bruesewitz, an adviser to President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign. The discussion centered on accusations that critics of the Israeli government are sometimes dismissed as being “paid operatives” for Qatar.
Responding to that broader debate, Kelly strongly denied ever receiving financial support from any foreign source.
“I’ve literally never taken a dollar from any foreign entity, at all,” Kelly said. “Nothing. Not one dollar of advertising on the show.”
She added that the only foreign group that had ever attempted to purchase advertising on her program consisted of Israeli representatives.
“And the only one who ever sought to buy into the show was on my tour and those were Israeli representatives, which is fine,” Kelly said. “They’re allowed to try. We said no.”
Kelly also emphasized that she has no connection to Qatar.
“But, like, I don’t know anyone in Qatar,” she said.
The comments came amid growing discussion over allegations involving foreign influence campaigns and online political messaging.
Earlier in the week, Time magazine reported that Brad Parscale, who briefly managed President Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign, and his company, Clock Tower X, are being paid by Israel to conduct an online influence campaign, according to filings made under the U.S. Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).
Vice President JD Vance also referenced the reported influence campaign during his recent appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, where he discussed what he described as organized efforts targeting critics of Israel.
Kelly turned her attention to critics whom she said have falsely accused her of being influenced by foreign interests. She specifically mentioned Parscale and pro-Israel activist and MAGA influencer Eyal Yakoby while warning that legal action could eventually expose financial relationships behind online attacks.
Kelly said the opinions she expresses on her program are genuinely her own and rejected suggestions that her commentary is motivated by foreign funding.
“I have my genuine held opinions,” she said. “We barely even do a ton of foreign policy on this show.”
She argued that accusations claiming she has been “bought and paid for” by a foreign government are baseless and challenged those making the claims to provide evidence.
“It’s such a weird knee jerk response to be like, ‘you’re bought and paid for by foreign influence,’” Kelly said. “Go ahead. Who? Who exactly? Who paid me? In what form?”
Kelly said that if she had more time, she would consider filing lawsuits against those making such allegations.
“Honestly, if I had the time, I’d be suing all of these losers,” she said.
She went on to predict that litigation involving Parscale and Yakoby could eventually reveal who is paying whom and under what contractual arrangements.
“I’ll tell you what, it’s just a matter of time before somebody sues Brad Parscale and/or Eyal Yakoby and starts getting to the bottom of who is paying whom for what,” Kelly said.
She added that legal discovery could uncover the details of any agreements and argued that those making defamatory statements should proceed cautiously.
“One round of discovery in a litigation and we will know it all,” Kelly said. “They really better tread carefully because a lot of these tweets are defamatory, absolute falsehoods meant to disparage you and sooner or later they’re going to cross the wrong person and you mark my words, there will be a litigation and we will see it all.”
